You can uninstall Bare Metal Orchestrator using the CLI.
We recommend performing a backup to an external S3 storage location before uninstalling Bare Metal Orchestrator. For information about backups, see the Bare Metal Orchestrator Command Line Interface User's Guide.
Uninstalling completely removes all Bare Metal Orchestrator components from the nodes.
If later you install a new Bare Metal Orchestrator instance, a different unique Bare Metal Orchestrator cluster ID is assigned to the cluster for tracking logs and events.
A user account with passwordless sudo privileges configured is required to uninstall Bare Metal Orchestrator. For more information about the common user account and passwordless sudo privileges, see Software and node requirements.
