Bare Metal Orchestrator reserves IP addresses in subnet ranges 10.42.0.0/16 and 10.43.0.0/16 for Global Controller cluster communication. If your server workload for Bare Metal Orchestrator uses IP addresses in those subnets and you cannot change them to a different subnet, then you can change the default CIDR subnets for Bare Metal Orchestrator.
If you need to change the default cluster-cidr and service-cidr subnets for Bare Metal Orchestrator, you must do that before you install the Bare Metal Orchestrator cluster.
