Azure Portal Manager allows you to apply, view, and manage updates for your Azure Stack HCI cluster nodes. Before the updates start, Azure Portal Manager checks the cluster readiness and lists available updates. You can also monitor the status of your updates that are getting applied.
Go to Azure Portal Manager. In the left panel, under Manage Azure Stack HCI, click Azure Stack HCI.
Optionally, you can also perform the following steps by going to Azure Stack HCI resource > Updates.
Select one or more clusters from the list, then click one-time update.
The Install Updates page appears.
On the check readiness tab, you can review the checks and their results. Once verified, click Next.
On the Select updates tab, select the desired available update then click Next.
On the Review + install tab, verify the previously selected options, and then click Install.
To monitor the updates progress, go to Manage Azure Stack HCI in the left panel and select History. You will see the clusters with update status.
Select the update run from the list of In-progress.
Review the results in the Download updates page, then click Next.
On the Install page, review the updates in progress.
