Sizing your implementation

  • The 3-Tier Platform design flexibly addresses various virtualization use cases and workloads, including the increasing demands from unstructured data. Sizing a physical infrastructure for virtualized workloads in a specific environment requires knowledge of the individual workloads and the related compute, memory, storage, and network performance requirements.

    After creating one or more VM profiles, you can estimate the physical infrastructure that is required to support VMs while also considering the expected future growth.
