  • This chapter describes the 3-Tier Platform compute components that are supported in Cisco UCS-Managed Mode.

    The Cisco UCS Manager (UCSM) system runs on the Fabric Interconnects (FIs). It enables you to access, configure, administer, and monitor the network and server resources across all the connected chassis, blades, and rackmount servers.
