The following prerequisites must be performed before installing the CSI Driver for PowerFlex:
$ curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/helm/helm/master/scripts/get-helm-3 | bash
$ git clone https://github.com/kubernetes-csi/external-snapshotter/
$ cd ./external-snapshotter
$ git checkout release-<your-version>
$ kubectl create -f client/config/crd
$ kubectl create -f deploy/kubernetes/snapshot-controller

Parameter | Description |
username | Username for accessing PowerFlex system. |
password | Password for accessing PowerFlex system. |
systemID | PowerFlex system name or ID. |
endpoint | PowerFlex Manager public IP for PowerFlex system. |
mdm | List of MDM IP addresses separated by comma. |
storage pool | Storage pool name configured on PowerFlex system. |
protection domain | Protection domain name configured on PowerFlex system. |
Note: The CSI driver can be installed using either Helm or Dell CSI Operator. In this section, instructions to install the CSI driver using Dell CSI Operator are provided. For more information about CSI installation using helm, see Installing CSI Driver for PowerFlex using Helm.
