The following steps are performed to install the time series and analytics database kdb+ from KX:
1. Download kdb+ from the KX link.
2. Once you register, a license key is shared by email. The user also gets an l64.zip file after registration.
3. On the compute nodes, create a QHOME directory in /home/core and then extract the l64.zip.
core@node1: sudo su
root@node1:/home/core/QHOME# ls
kc.lic l64 q.k
root@node1:/home/core/QHOME#
4. Copy the kc.lic file in /root/q
5. Test kdb+ is working from node1
root@node1:/home/core# cd
root@node1:~# q/l64/q
