For autogrowth, we modifed the default values for user database data and log files. TempDB data and log files, autogrowth was set to 1 GB. This optimizes how the database adds space and minimizes the impact on transactions. The autogrowth default values are:

Each database is different, and administrators must determine the proper autogrow value for their specific databases.
