The NVIDIA GPU Operator prepares OpenShift to run GPU-accelerated workloads on a single node or on multiple nodes by automatically installing required drivers, the DGCM exporter, container runtimes, and other libraries. The NVIDIA GPU Operator is based on the Operator Framework and automates the management of all NVIDIA software components that are required to provision GPUs in OpenShift. The NVIDIA GPU Operator can be installed from the OperatorHub portal, which is available in the OpenShift 4 web console or through Helm. For information about how to install the NVIDIA GPU Operator, see the NVIDIA GPU Operator installation documentation. The cluster administrator must install the NVIDIA GPU Operator after OpenShift 4.3 installation and before you run the containerized benchmarks discussed in this paper.
