The CSI driver for PowerFlex is a plug-in that is installed into Kubernetes to provide persistent storage using the PowerFlex storage system. The CSI driver for PowerFlex and Kubernetes communicates using the CSI protocol. The CSI driver for PowerFlex supports Dynamic and static provisioning of PV and Snapshot capabilities. The Helm chart or an operator installs the CSI driver for Dell PowerFlex using a shell script. This script installs the CSI driver container image with its side car containers and automatically installs PowerFlex SDC on each worker node that is part of the Kubernetes cluster.
