Once the physical hardware is installed and deployed and the external services are configured and available, you can provision VDCs, namespaces, replication groups, users, buckets, and so on, to provide data access to the ECS storage platform. Components that can be provisioned, as shown in Figure 9, include:
This section highlights several best practices and considerations for provisioning ECS. When provisioning ECS, certain settings, as outlined in the following table, can only be configured during creation time; once set, they cannot be modified. The sections that follow the table provide additional details, where applicable.
