A storage class enables administrators to describe the kind of storage that they offer. You can define multiple differing storage class objects within an OpenShift cluster, each of which provides a unique interaction with storage providers.
To create a storage class:
kind: StorageClass
apiVersion: storage.k8s.io/v1
metadata:
name: ceph-storageclass
provisioner: kubernetes.io/rbd
parameters:
adminId: admin
adminSecretName: ceph-secret
adminSecretNamespace: ceph-storage-integration
monitors: '192.168.20.27:6789,192.168.20.28:6789,192.168.20.29:6789'
pool: ceph-openshift
userId: admin
userSecretName: ceph-secret
reclaimPolicy: Delete
volumeBindingMode: Immediate
Note: 192.168.20.27, 192.168.20.28, and 192.168.20.29 are the IPs of the nodes where ceph-monitor is running. The pool name ceph-secret is set up in ceph-cluster.
