Audit logs are available for you to review and monitor activities such as administrative tasks, user denials and login errors, and configuration changes.
Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite collects audit logs and stores them locally in a default directory location.
Logs are compressed into .zip files whose folder names include the current date and timestamp. The .zip folder names are aggregate_audit_logs_timestamp
. The timestamp at the end of a folder name is in ISO 8601 format with year, month, day, and time (hrs, min, secs, fractions of secs) in UTC, which includes a Z at the end.
For example, this audit log indicates that the audit log was exported on October 9, 2023 at 11:34:00:

In addition:
- Files are capped at 10,000 log entries before a new file is created.
- Logs are sorted in increasing order by log timestamp value.
- There is a 10 GB maximum call message size in place. The call fails if the .zip file size exceeds this limit.
You can view uncompressed logs using a text editor. The following shows an example log entry:
