Updating the hostname for a resource
The Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite web user interface provides an option to edit the hostname for a resource after the resource is onboarded. You can use the hardware profile to update the hostname during operating system installation.
Token expired error when uploading ISO images larger than 250 MB
If the file is larger than 250 MB, then it is recommended to access the UI/Curl within the network/data center.
Unable to delete a failed instance of a workload cloud deployment if all the VMs restart when a workload cloud deployment is in progress
If all the VMs are restarted when a workload cloud deployment is in progress, the deployment fails. You must perform the following:
- Manually decommission the server that is used for the workload cloud deployment from either Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite or the iDRAC.
- Update the deployment status field for the workload cloud. To do the update, contact your Dell representative.
- Perform the delete cloud operation through the Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite gRPC API Guide and Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite REST API Guide.
Using Ansible with an air gap deployment
You can only use the Ansible plug-in with a Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite deployment that has Internet connectivity. The plug-in fails if you have an air gap Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite deployment.
Limited support for Plugins page in the Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite web user interface
You cannot upload or delete a custom plug-in file in the Plug-ins page within the SDK tab in the Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite web user interface. You can only view and use the default plug-in files provided.
