Project Settings are accessed using the File menu in DaVinci Resolve.
Project Settings, Master Settings, Working Folders
The default location for Cache files and Gallery stills is the first storage location listed in Application Settings, System, Media Storage. The working folder section overrides these default locations for the Render Cache and Gallery Stills.

Cache location is described in detail in the section Error! Reference source not found. above under Preferences, System, Media Storage.
In general, these locations should be left at their default locations (on the local workstation drive). Resolve does not have a good mechanism for sharing proxy and cache files and creation of these files on shares storage can have unintended negative performance consequences.
Project Settings, Capture and Playback, Capture
The settings here determine DaVinci Resolve’s behavior when capturing clips from tape or film scanner into the media pool. Typically, these clips will be saved onto a location on the PowerScale storage. Always verify that the PowerScale storage being used has enough capacity and bandwidth to capture the requested material and format.
