Alert consolidation is the SRM feature that collects events from various sources and normalizes them into the same format. This feature displays them together in the same global-alerting reports in the SRM UI.
SRM handles all normalized events the same, regardless of the device type, event source, and type of event, and regardless of whether the alert is predefined or is a custom alert. All events appear together in the All Alerts report. SRM web portal users can filter, sort, and manage all the events from the same interface and same report.
