A Persistent Volume (PV) represents a storage resource. A PV configuration specifies storage capacity, access modes, and the storage source, such as PowerStore system.
A PV exists independently of the lifecycle of individual containers, providing a stable storage backend for stateful applications such as databases. This ensures data persistence even when the individual containers are terminated.
