Home > Storage > PowerScale (Isilon) > Product Documentation > Protocols > Dell PowerScale: OneFS S3 API Guide > GetObject
This API retrieves objects from OneFS through the S3 protocol. If read permission is granted to the nobody user in OneFS, a client can retrieve the object without using an authorization header. Table 17 shows the details about the OneFS S3 GetObject API request parameters and request body. If not specified, OneFS silently ignores all unsupported request parameters and the request body, without returning an error code to the client.
