OneFS Release 9.4.0.0 introduces a new CLI command for troubleshooting SmartConnect: isi network pools status. The new command lists SmartConnect DNS resolvable status for each node. If a node is not resolvable, OneFS states possible reasons, providing administrators a starting point to troubleshoot. The new command uses the following format:
isi network pools status --id=[Subnet ID] –-show-all
The subnet ID is the ID listed under isi network pools list for the specified pool.
The isi network pools status command lists a summary of the pool and then a status for each node, as displayed in Figure 27.
The status for each node lists if it is SmartConnect DNS resolvable, state, IP status, interface status, protocols, and the suspended states. The possible states for each field are listed in Table 10.
Field | Possible Values |
Node State | Up, Draining, Smartfailing, Shutting Down, Down |
IP Status | Has usable IPs, Does not have usable IPs, Does not have any configured IPs |
Protocols Running | True, False |
Suspended | True, False |
