System health and component status can be monitored with Unisphere for PowerMax and Solutions Enabler. The tools provided by the management software are designed to give the end user a high-level overview of the condition of the array. If these tools report any problems, and the user should contact Dell Support for proper, more in-depth investigation. Users should not try to perform any self-diagnostics or recovery. Dell Support Engineers have access to additional tools that allow for a thorough examination of the system. An investigation may already be underway as the array will send a call home to Dell Support for issues.
