The Ansible registry is a way to capture task output and store it in a variable that can be used in other tasks.
To capture the output of a variable, the register keyword is added to the task, and the output is available as a variable for reference.
Although Ansible does not have a print function, you can view the output of tasks in a couple of ways. This section describes how to view task output to determine what you want to capture into the registry.
