When creating a new zone, CloudStack provides an option to create a primary storage. However, primary storage can be added at any time, such as when adding a new cluster or adding more servers to an existing cluster.
Note: When using pre-allocated storage for primary storage, make sure that there is no data residing in the storage pool.
Note: Make sure the storage pool is already configured in the PowerFlex storage and the KVM host can access the storage pool. Adding the storage to CloudStack destroys any existing data.

Note: The tag set on primary storage across clusters in a Zone must be identical.
4. Verify the storage capacity of the added storage pool with PowerFlex side storage pool.
a. Log in to CloudStack UI and navigate to Infrastructure > Primary storage and click on the respective storage pool to see the size as shown below.

b. Log in to PowerFlex Manager, navigate to Block > Storage Pool and select the respective storage pool. And then click on the Capacity tab to verify the capacity.

The user can add multiple storage pools and define the scope to use as either cluster or zone wide.
