The following figure shows that with a consistent increase in the number of SLOB user sessions from 400 to 765 in increments of 100, the IOPS has linearly increased with minimal increase in read latency. The PowerFlex system could achieve up to 1.25 million IOPS under a 0.54 millisecond (ms) latency.
The following table shows the read-only workload test result details:
Number of Workers | IOPS | Latency (ms) |
400 | 1,059,537 | 0.33 |
504 | 1,135,719 | 0.38 |
603 | 1,204,330 | 0.47 |
765 | 1,241,389 | 0.54 |
The following figure shows that with an OLTP workload, the PowerFlex system could achieve an IOPS of 566,523 at submillisecond read latency.
The following table shows the details of the OLTP workload test result:
Number of workers | IOPS | Read latency | Write latency |
201 | 566,523 | 0.35 | 0.9 |
402 | 715,015 | 0.57 | 1.6 |
504 | 745,791 | 0.65 | 1.9 |
756 | 784,779 | 0.93 | 2.5 |
