GeoDrive was not designed to be a sync and share application. With GeoDrive files are first cached locally in Windows before being sent to the cloud storage platform. Files are uploaded to ECS once the file has not been accessed for a period or only after a close of file. As a best practice, manage the GeoDrive environment such that multiple users are not accessing the same files simultaneously from two or more different GeoDrive instances. This reduces the risk of users overwriting another user’s changes.
