A storage account is required in the same region where DDVE is deployed. Create a separate storage account for each DDVE using the following steps:
- Create a StorageV2 account in the same region where DDVE is deployed. Select the following values:
- Performance—Standard
- Account kind—General-purpose V2
- Access tier—Hot
- Create a new Hot Blob container as the backup storage for the DDVE. Ensure that the container is empty.
- Go to your new storage account and to the Blob service section.
- Select Containers and click + Container. Type a name for the container.
- Set the public access level to Private (no anonymous access) and click Create.
