This section describes the configuration of the required Amazon EC2 instances and the deployment steps for the various components used in this solution.
Deploy the Amazon EC2 instance as a bastion node using the configuration details in Table 2. The bastion node is configured to have access to a public subnet, using Elastic IP, and to private subnets to enable access to the database and PowerFlex storage instances in a private range.
Amazon EC2 instance for Kubernetes-master node installation can be deployed based on the configuration details in Table 2.
Open-source Kubernetes is used for configuration. The Kubernetes cluster is installed on the Kubernetes master instance, and the four SDC instances are added as worker nodes to the cluster.
