This section describes how the APEX Block Storage volumes are mapped to SQL Server nodes.
1. Select the volumes that you created and in the upper right corner, select MAPPING > Map.
2. Under SDCs, select all SDCs used for this configuration, and then click MAP and APPLY.
3. After the volume is selected, verify the status of each volume that is mapped to host in the Details section.
The APEX Block Storage volume mapping can be verified by running the lsblk command on the Ubuntu instance as shown in the following figure:
Perform the following steps to create a logical volume and map the volume onto the SQL Server nodes:
pvcreate /dev/scinib
vgcreate volgrp15 /dev/scinib
lvcreate -L 500G -n lv15 volgrp15
mkfs.xfs /dev/volgrp15/lv15
mount -t xfs /dev/volgrp01/lv01 /mnt/sqldb
mount -t xfs /dev/volgrp02/lv02 /mnt/sqllog
mount -t xfs /dev/volgrp03/lv03 /mnt/sqlsystemfiles
