This section describes how to create the FCI resource.
The following example creates an FCI in the group sqlhagroup. The name of the resource group must be unique from any resource created in Pacemaker:
#sudo pcs resource create sqlvirtualname1 ocf:mssql:fci --group sqlhagroup
#sudo pcs resource create volgrp15 ocf:heartbeat:LVM-activate vgname=volgrp15 vg_access_mode=system_id activation_mode=exclusive --group sqlhagroup
#sudo pcs resource create mssql-log ocf:heartbeat:Filesystem device="/dev/volgrp15/lv15" directory="/mnt/sqllog" fstype="xfs" --group sqlhagroup
#sudo pcs resource create volgrp13 ocf:heartbeat:LVM-activate vgname=volgrp13 vg_access_mode=system_id activation_mode=exclusive --group sqlhagroup
#sudo pcs resource create mssql-sqlsystemfiles ocf:heartbeat:Filesystem device="/dev/volgrp13/lv13" directory="/mnt/sqlsystemfiles" fstype="xfs" --group sqlhagroup
#sudo pcs resource create volgrp5 ocf:heartbeat:LVM-activate vgname=volgrp5 vg_access_mode=system_id activation_mode=exclusive --group sqlhagroup
#sudo pcs resource create mssql-db ocf:heartbeat:Filesystem device="/dev/volgrp5/lv5" directory="/mnt/sqldb" fstype="xfs" --group sqlhagroup
#sudo pcs resource create sql_vip IPaddr2 ip=x.x.x.x cidr_netmask=27 nic=ens5 --group sqlhagroup
Verify the configuration:
Run the following command to check if the FCI resource is online:
sudo pcs status
