The following example demonstrates how to restore the PowerFlex volumes’ data from BoostFS.
It is assumed that the PowerFlex system is deployed, and that PowerFlex volumes with sizes matching the volumes that were used for the backup are created and mapped to the backup host Amazon EC2 instance. The BoostFS file system is mounted to the backup host so that the restore operations can proceed from the BoostFS file system to the mapped volumes.
The restore and complete recovery steps include:
