Determine where on the web server you want to upload the files.
For high availability, images and binary files are uploaded to the web server located on the GC site.
You can use the Bare Metal Orchestrator CLI to upload ISO images, firmware images, json files, and more to the webserver.
Note: To upload the images using the Bare Metal Orchestrator GUI, see Bare Metal Orchestrator Web User Interface Guide.
- Establish a CLI session on the Bare Metal Orchestrator VM and log in. For high availability configurations, establish a CLI session using the virtual IP (VIP) of the Load Balancers for the Bare Metal Orchestrator cluster.
- Optional: List images and binary files currently in the web server. Run:
bmo get fs
To list the contents of a specific folder on the web server, run: bmo get fs -m <folder name>
- Run one of the following commands to upload an image or binary file to the web server:
bmo upload fs -f <filename>
bmo upload fs --file <filename>
- Run the following command to upload an image or binary file to a specific folder on the web server:
bmo upload fs -f <filename> -m <folder name>
Note: You can use this command to either upload to an existing folder or create a new folder with the folder name you provide.
