The web user interface (UI) login is based on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) service.
- Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite must be installed and running. For more information, see the Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite Installation and Administration Guide.
- Use one of these browsers:
- Google Chrome 89.0.4389.90 or higher
- Mozilla Firefox 86.0.1 or higher
- Microsoft Edge 89.0.774.68 or higher
- A Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite user account is set up for the user.
- A user has been assigned a specific role that determines the permissions they have on the system. The user role assignment is set up using IAM service.
- You must add the Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite hostname to the hosts file on your work station before you can access Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite using the web UI. After installation, the initial user is assigned the global-admin user role by default. The user can then log in to the web user interface using the default credentials provided during installation.
If the required license has not been uploaded during installation, the user is redirected to the License page after logging in. For more information, see License Manager. However, if the required license has already been uploaded during installation, the user can perform tasks within the web user interface.
A user logging in to Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite has either the global-admin or the global-reader role that is associated with their account:
