As shown in the preceding diagram, a PMem based memory configuration offers savings of up to 45 percent in memory cost. When IT budgets flatten or decrease and DRAM costs rise, PMem represents a huge cost savings opportunity.
This comparison covers the memory cost, and not overall system cost.
